FDZJ attended the "10th Congress,Asian-Pacific Association for Laser Medicine and Surgery"and successfully held a special meeting on Photodynamic Drug Therapy (PDT) and a PDT Forum 2004-11-09
“10th Congress,Asian-Pacific Association for Laser Medicine and Surgery”, “2004 Shanghai International Congress on Laser Medicine and Surgery” was held on 5th – 7th , Nov. in Shanghai. Most of the doctors worked and specially engaged in this field from Asia and Pacific regions attended the conference. The representatives of industry related were in the conference as well.
A special meeting on PDT was held by FDZJ. Professor Zhou Chuannong, a famous expert of laser medication, from the Division of Cancer Research, China Institute of Medical Science, played a part as the chairman. The thesis on three drugs for PDT was presented in the meeting by FDZJ’s product researchers, doctors and researchers worked for the animal trial. Professor Zhou presented a lecture on the significance, development, achievement current situations inside China and the future about PDT. Experts attended the meeting positively evaluated the results obtained by FDZJ’s products and forecasted the future usage of these products.
